About LACBEE
This annual conference brings together faculty working in Behavioral and Experimental Economics at Liberal Arts Colleges. Inspired by the successful LACDEV and Liberal Arts Macro conferences, this gathering serves to establish research and mentoring networks, as well as provide opportunities to discuss the teaching of experimental and behavioral topics.
The fifth in-person Liberal Arts Colleges Behavioral and Experimental Economics (LACBEE) workshop will be hosted by Middlebury College on June 23-24, 2025. Previous iterations of the workshop were hosted by Colorado College in 2019 and 2024, Carleton College in 2022, and Haverford and Swarthmore Colleges in 2023.
The workshop will include both research presentations and mentoring discussions. We especially encourage participants to bring their early-to-mid-stage work that would most benefit from input. For example, it may be a great idea to get focused feedback on an experimental design before you start running sessions.
There is no registration fee for the workshop. Light breakfasts, coffee, lunches, and dinners will be provided. Participants should expect to pay for their own lodging and transportation.
